  Mental Preparation: As our support grows more and more we all look for better ways to prepare for race seasons. Many of us over-look the mental aspect of our sport. From knowing you can holeshot to knowing you can win, everyone needs to believe mentally that they belong at the top. Here are some tips on the mental game: 1) Study the start procedure - study when the gate drops and where the best starts are coming from. 2) Study other riders line in between moto's - Know where the fast lines are, where they good places to pass are and find smoother lines to save from fatique. 3) Study your competition - Get behind one of the better riders in your class in practice, see what lines he takes, and where you can make up the time or make passes come race time.
